The Victoria 9 end singles tournament took place last Sunday, a four hour event and was a resounding success.
Seven clubs were represented and a full field of 32 men and women played a minimum of 3 games then semi and final.
Everyone enjoyed the concept and cant wait to come back for the next one which may be on a Friday evening starting at 5pm with the final under lights if necessary.
For the record there were 5 unbeaten players after 3 rounds, 4 women and a single guy!!!
In the final Roy Gibb VICTORIA beat Leigh Griffin VICTORIA when he drove her toucher off with the last bowl of the game, a fitting finale to a successful innovative event.
