Well done Ray!

Well done to Ray Martin playing with Paula Meredith (Johnsonville) for making it to the semifinals of the recent Wellington Mixed Pairs. They went down to Robbie Bird and Jessie Macaw (Naenae) 11-13 in a close match which swung Naenae’s way when Robbie trailed a jack two feet for 4 shots after Ray and Paula had been up early on. Ray’s semifinal appearance at least opened Victoria’s account in the race for the Bowls Wellington Men’s Club of the Year.
