Congratulations to Raymond Martin reaching the semifinals of the Burnside Under 26 singles in Christchurch today. It was the second year in a row that Ray went down in the semis to the eventual champion. Greg Ruaporo (Auckland) beat him 21-8, overturning a 21-10 result to Ray in section play.
Tim Toomey was runner-up in Division 2 losing the final 21-16 to Robbie Reed (Canterbury).
