Sensational end to the last interclub rounds for Victoria today with both women’s and men’s teams needing solid days to make the Top 4.
The men, WOW, won 6 out of 6 to go from playing to make the top 4, to WINNING THE LEAGUE!!! That means the playoffs are at home.
The women smashed out a 3 out of 3 this morning, and then got a win they needed in the afternoon to secure their place in the top 4.
In other grades, the men’s Division 2 team didn’t have their best outing, but two wins by Irish in the singles mean they stay in the division.
The ‘Any combo’ team had one of their best days with 4 wins from 6. Feature win being Mary-Ann and Marcus winning 41-5 this morning!!!
A good day for interclub today if you were a singles player for Victoria, with 8 out of 8 singles games being won between Colvinator, Helen, Ray, and Irish.
