Congratulations to Richard Corry for winning the Professional Bowls Association Ranking Singles event at the Heretaunga Club in Hastings on Saturday. Richard narrowly beat Bradley Down in a great final 10-8, 7-7. Rich then went on to reach the quarterfinals of the International Singles qualifier on Sunday before losing to Scott Mackenzie (Wairarapa) 7-8, 9-12.…

Well done to Peter Rintoul, MaryAnn Wilson and Richard Corry who narrowly missed retaining their Wellington Catholic Open Triples indoor bowls title last week at Berhampore. They went down by one shot to Maree and Kevin Crighton and Marcus Trlin (Vogelmorn) in a see-saw final.
